CC LUNCHES- THIRD FRIDAYS: all volunteers, members, and friends of the Conservancy are invited to monthly luncheons held at local restaurants. We share laughter, conversations, a meal—and sometimes share information about upcoming CC events. TRAIL CLEANING: THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS! WITH YOUR HELP OUR TRAILS ARE BEAUTIFUL AND READY FOR LATE AUTUMN AND WINTER.
STARTING NEXT SPRING: COME HELP WITH TRAIL CEANING ON THE SECOND SATURDAY EACH MONTH, BEGINNING WITH APRIL. Volunteers gather at the King’s Corner parking lot on each date at 8:45am, dressed for the weather and for work. Scout and school project groups would be very welcome. TRAILS ARE OPEN AND IT’S BEAUTIFUL OUT THERE!
Hiking and equestrian trails on our beautiful Conservancy properties continue to be open for YOU in all seasons.
Have your CELL PHONE fully charged with your phone’s location switched to ON; and dress for trail conditions on our properties, especially when trails are muddy or snowy. Some trails become quite remote and can be challenging. There are signposts with section ID in case you feel lost. The Caledonia Fire Department can locate you if needed and those numbers can help.
Equestrians are warned NOT to enter our trails when they are very muddy, for safety and to maintain trail integrity.
If you discover a tree or branch blocking a trail, and if you can easily move it away from the trail, go ahead; BUT in the case of an equestrian trail, the tree and branches must be moved fully off the trail into the woods so that the log does not startle a horse.

Caledonia Conservancy trails are maintained and improved through the generosity of our volunteer workers and our donors. We seek financial donations in any amount, and we’re always on the lookout for local and national foundations or grants that might be a resource. In-kind donations of materials or labor from local businesses are needed and welcomed. We feel that our work is vital to preserving wild spaces in our Village; so also consider becoming an active worker and/or committee member if you are able.
